Family First Sunday

Family First Sunday

Dear FPCSA Family & Friends,
Two things I ask of you this Sunday, May 3rd.  First, it’s a family first Sunday, so before you join the live-stream service on the FPCSantaAna Facebook page, be sure to have Bread & Cup ready; we will be celebrating the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper together.  Second, if you have a Birthday or Anniversary in the month of May, please let us know in the comments section of the live-stream, so we can celebrate you!
As many churches are doing in our Presbytery, your session is seeking to discern God’s best will for us in the coming months.  I liken the world to an athlete who is injured.  The athlete may be itching to get back into the game.  But if they return too early, they threaten to re-injure themselves; and the subsequent injury maybe even worse than the original one.  I prefer to move slow and steady, rather than rushed and reckless.  So at this point, we will remain in online mode until at least June.  Please do your best to connect via Facebook live and our zoom sessions.
I’m happy to report that more and more of you have turned to online giving.  Thank you so much!  We are so grateful for your faithfulness during this difficult time.

I look forward to “seeing” you this week!
In Christ’s love & service,
Rev. Dr. Lance E. Allen, D. MinFirst Presbyterian Church Santa Ana
