Dear FPCSA Family & Friends,
Even in the midst of shelter-in-place, the church continues to serve. We are so grateful for our partnerships! The PW of Trabuco Presbyterian Church put together with care packages for the children of our partners, La Semilla Learning Center, as well as the children of FPCSA. Then our Director of Children’s Ministry, Ms. Sandra, and the Director of La Semilla, Ms. Paula, hand-delivered them to our families…
Ms. Sandra writes, “Special thanks to Mrs. Jill and the Women’s Bible Study from Trabuco Presbyterian Church for donating care packages to our children. Each child received a special delivery with a ‘We Miss You!’ shout-out; it was wonderful to see how joyful each child was, while practicing social-distancing (of course!).”
In other news, two of our church members, Ramon & Abigail Hernandez, tested positive for C-19. They were feeling pretty bad earlier this week, but are feeling better now. Thanks be to God! One of our deacons delivered groceries to them. We are thankful for the continued service and care of our church family!
It seems our Sunday worship gets better every week. Last Sunday we moved to the sanctuary and were joined by our organist, Arthur Abadi, and our soprano soloist, Andrea Flores. It was so nice to have the organ and soloist there! This week, Kyle Short will be joining us. Along with his music expertise, Kyle will be bringing some of his video-recording equipment, and we are going to try to improve that side of our “production.” We will continue to be live-streaming because it just feels more authentic and real. It may not be perfect. But neither are we. 😂
Sunday’s message will be, “DAVID: 40 Days to Slay Your Giants.” Hope to see you at 10A on Sunday at https://www.facebook.com/FPCSantaAna
Please let me know if there are any ways we can be praying for you!
